It has been seen that the average person gains about fifteen pounds in his lifetime due to unhealthy diet habits. Therefore, changing ones eating habits for the better can be very beneficial to overall health. This diet helps reduce the risk of various types of cancers, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and other common diseases. Changing one’s diet is not as difficult as some people think. Most doctors would suggest diet changes to patients after performing a proper analysis of their medical history and current diet and lifestyle.

Spending less time on eating when dieting can be more effective than simply counting calories. Counting calories only helps you determine how much food you should eat each day.
