This section can be a little bit more difficult than the other two sections due to the different kinds of questions you will be asked to answer. The reading section requires you to read a passage about a specific topic and explain your thoughts on it.
The next section requires you to answer multiple choice questions based on the information provided in the paragraph above. Once again, the reading section can be a little bit more difficult than the other two sections. The essay portion of the exam consists of three multiple choice questions as well as a writing section. This essay portion of the exam requires you to express your personal opinion on a particular topic. A student who receives a pass for the GED exam must be able to answer the three multiple choice questions and the writing portion without having any help.
The GED test also includes an essay which is used to gauge your verbal skills. You must read a passage about a specific subject and express your opinion about it. Your opinion is evaluated by how effectively you able to articulate your thoughts. The reasoning section requires you to use both visual and verbal reasoning skills to solve the problem. Students who receive a pass for this portion must be able to solve the riddle without the use of outside resources such as a calculator.
The GED exam includes some very simple questions which do not require a lot of pre-quals or preparation. However, if you want to get a better score on this exam, you should make sure to take the time to review before taking the exam. The GED test is designed to test a candidate’s knowledge, but in order to score high, you should spend the time to learn what you are going to have to say on the test.
